Does Azahar have a stable offset or anything? I've seen that you can set ticks in the settings but I'm not quite sure how to apply that to the calibrator, same with the Citra tab on PokeReader.
I've found 1 offset with the calibrator but it doesn't seem to work

You should always get pretty close, but off by a tiny amount. If you try enough times it will work, but it is fairly tedious.

I prefer Azahar because it runs PokeReader. I also don't mind using the initial seed I get and speeding up the emulator to reach higher advances.
Vlad prefers the older Citra for easier initial seed RNG, but it can't use PokeReader.
Ultimately it's up to your personal preference.

I think I ended up doing a combination of resetting + longer wait times and not do initial seed RNG at all
If you're really set on TID RNG it might be worth it to get an old Citra release, do the TID there and then switch the save to Azahar if you want PokeReader
