#What should my delay be?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Which rng is this?
Transporter
unfortunately this depends on your connection speed
what i can suggest is try the rng as near as you can to the router
this will hopefully help
Can you tell me, based on the pic, what you think my delay should be?
there is not a standard value
it depends on the connection
be sure to be as near as you can to your router
try again until you get a stable delay
Nope
Something about the 10th highest out of the most common frame.
Use the most common one ofc
Here’s what I mean. Number 9.
Out of the frames shown, the most common would be 314 and the highest away from that within 10 frames is 321. That’s not correct?
Next time I try, I’ll take your suggestion of placing my 3ds as close to my router as I can, I just wanna know that I’m understanding what I’m reading correctly.
Why you have double delays sometimes?
Try again many times with this setup and try to get a more stable delay
Those are when the frames are right next to each other and they have the same stats, so I couldn’t know which was the right one.
You can clone an entire box
It's a bit I don't do this rng
Aren't these used for generating the mon?
If you have 30 pokémon in a box you have more % to hit the target
Isn't it?
Full box in Gen 2 is 20 Pokémon.
Same
What?
The pic shows the attempt numbers 1 to 14, there were 15 but the 15th got cut off. Each attempt is the final a press, the frame landed on and finally the delay.
1.
540 (Final A)
910-916 (The frame that it landed on) There are multiple because a few frames had the same stats so I don’t know the exact frame
370-376 (This is the delay between the final a press and the frame that was landed on) (910-540=370) (916-540=376) The delay should be somewhere between 370 to 376 for that attempt.
This is about an inch away from my router.
For some reason I seem to have more of a delay right in front of my router. 😆
I got it!
I’m confused as to why it was the third in the box and not the first.
I don’t know if it was luck or random.
It was frame 48551.
If I change index of target pkm, I get a different frame. Would that have been the wrong frame or who I have gotten the Pokémon either way?
Nice job!
What happens if you put index 3?
It changes the frame number to something else.
How do I get rid of this thread? Does it just go away on its own?
Just ignore
Were you able to get what you needed?
Kinda.
