need help finding out my tsv ultra sun (start of game)

Hello! I'm using blisey's start of the game tutorial on how to find out my tsv so I can RNG hunt rowlet. And I am confident I am getting my clock frames right, but I always get an error and I've been retrying and retrying for hours and I'm beginning to loose hope. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? Am I too slow? How accurate and quickly do I have to enter in my name/say no? Do I have to listen to Kukui over and over again if I make a mistake, or can I just stop and hit record again and continue the process like normal of I make a mistake or do I HAVE to soft reset again?

Geniunley don't know what to do and I rather not emulate my DS as of rn and I really really want to do this method right but I can't seem to get it to work :(. Are there any other methods I could be trying without CFW?

No not rn that's why I'm using this method 😔 if CFW is my last resort i will do it but I much much much rather not do it

Yeah using Pokereader (which needs CFW) is how I got my TID. But I get not wanting to do that

I know pokereader and CFW can do all of that, I just don't want to spend another 40$ on an SD card just so I can get a blue owl faster 😭

Fastest way is via cfw

Also starters are a bit ugly without cfw iirc

Cause delay is a bit not stable

Cause again, I'm not spending $40 just to find my TID and a slightly different looking owl ^^;. I've been shiny hunting rowlet for 5 months now and I just want it to end and I really don't think I need CFW to do that. I know it's possible and I don't care what way is "faster" :')

If you still need help I’d just make sure your putting the clocks in right I was having trouble with it too but I must’ve been messing up the clocks I got it on like my fifth try so just look over it and make sure all the clocks are right

I'm fairly confident I'm getting my clocks right, I'm timing it the EXACT moment the clock "lights up", should I be doing it a bit earlier/later?

ive spent a solid 10-12 hours trying this about to give up and use cfw to read my tsv tid/sid so i can move on lol, not really my style but im tired of spinning my wheels and it seems I cant find someone who has actually truely succesfully done it and willing to help

Yeah exactly same, I'm also considering just doing cfw even though you really don't have to, there's just not a lot of clarification on frames and what not. Basically everywhere I looked for months was just "just use cfw it's faster" and like idc what's faster why are you here to "help" 😭

im in blisys discord too and in the usum channel the only one that has responded is someone else who has also had issues with this so I think its just not a very used strat tbh, the other rng manip channels are great and you get help within an hour or so

luckily I have a spare modded 2ds laying around

Cfw def feels like cheating, 😭 wish the other method worked. Gonna manip the rest tho no more cfw from here on

now that I have it im gonna do alittle reverse engineering to see if I can find what my clock faces SHOULD be in the gen7 tool because that was driving me up a wall

Low key think this method just does not work/ is highly inconsistent? I just used checkpoint to extract my file and then pkhex to see my initial seed, in the 24 character string none of the seeds had my tid/sid tsv at all within 500k frames
