Trying to get a foonguss on route 7 (2 NPCs)

My frame is 164 and at first I hit 171 so I tried aiming 7 lower but I still hit 171, can I not hit it or do I just need to trial and error with aiming lower till I hit it? Or am I better of giving up/trying a new seed? (bw1)

cuz I hope theres a patern and the at 152 i was maybe slower or faster at opening it causing me to get more then +12

Because of the way noise works i believe certian frames may be impossible to actually hit. Keep doing a range like you're doing now and you'll figure out whether or not you can actually hit the frame.

Do you have any overworld Foongus remaining? That might make things easier

I would assume so, I forgot about them existing so I just looked for the route with the lowest NPCs

1 question, if I go to one of these silent areas and in the process of getting to the right part walk over the line, is it fine if i save, reset and then start RNGing or should I avoid crossing over it at all times and just get there from the other side?

What you do before you’re on your rng attempt doesn’t matter just don’t step over it when you’re on your target seed and about to encounter your target
