Advance in pokefinder is 231. So I would walk in forest 4 frames earlier for Chimchar? That would be 227. So I walk in choose the starter and when the fight starts the advance rises up from 227 to 245? Then what? thats where im confused.

So what I was doing wrong was going in 4 frames earlier 774 instead of 778 like with Jotho starters.
