This game goes around a rpg loot table, so I think it should stay this way to rely on luck, worst case scenario you're grinding a little to get the right quirks to progress even further
Plus there's a forge for this kind of stuff
That's the point 
this community is divided into categories that I haven't actually bothered making names for
all in all most of these suggestions aren't really flying into the developer team's radar
no removing quirks good since it makes you not restart and even if removing quirks was a thing it would be very expensive seeing how the forge turned out
would prefer a sandbox mode fr
about this, it's ok to expirement and sacrifice weapons, it's part of the game, with trial and error, and tbh I want it to stay that way cuz it takes out the boring since you actually have to use your big brain, which can be very rewarding and fun knowing you worked very hard for the build and it took hours not minutes like how every game should do it, I call it juicing where am I going with this
not everone likes to go through multiple iterations of a build just because thats how "fun" works
