Rando shuffles all the item pools that you select. From movement and skills all the way to stuff like journal entries and grass.

Best is subjective, you can use the search in scarab+ to look for what you're interested in.

ok, so it's been a hot minute since i ran hollow knight (march 2021) and i remember i was last using randomiser mod, so i wanted to turn that off before i get back into it. Seems modding moved on to this Scarab thing, but i have this "Mod installer" that won't seem to open. Just unsure how to proceed (do i just delete it and install scarab or am i trying to open the wrong thing?)

for normal scarab you will need to set the path for the mods to install which is the folder containing HK data but scarab+ does most of that automatically

#

you will have to redownload most of the mods since you most likely have outdated mods

#

and i recommend copying your ck skins file so it doesn’t get deleted in the process or you can redownload the skins you want from the skins list in the pins of this channel

#

and if you have no reason to go back to 1.4.3.2 you can delete all the mods from mod installer to clean up some space

Yeah thats what I thought and it has done in the past. the installing still works fine but if you have them installed but disable them (turning them off) and then turn on a mod, that depends on another, alone then it just freezes

Not sure if this is really the best channel for this, but i'm wondering what just happened at the end of this clip i got last night.

I was fighting AnyRad, and suddenly my game stuttered and everything teleported a little. My guess is it's just something to do with how the game handles dynamic framerates, and such a dramatic shift in FPS caused things to move more in one frame than they should. But i'm curious if anyone has an alternate explanation.

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
🔹 First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
🔹 Click the three points then click "Manage".
🔹 Go to the "Files" tab and select "Browse...".
🔹 Click Hollow Knight then Content, click the path bar and copy it.
🔸Run Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

Alternate Method:
🔹 Click on your profile then "Settings"
🔹 Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"
🔹 Look for a folder where you want to install the game (Preferably inside a folder in your desktop).

Hello, I recently downloaded the acclaimed Pale Court and ran into a problem. Installed through scrub, in the upper left corner the name of the mod is displayed. Even has the option to change the theme in the main menu and go "under" the statue of Ogrim in the Hall of Gods. However, there is no option to hit knights with the dream nail. If I hit Izma or Gray Mourner just pops up a window with their thoughts, but there is no transition into battle. Tell me, is it I do something wrong and something I do not understand or just mod broken (reinstall tried, did not help)

Known problems with Pale Court

  • Textures do not work on Unix systems (MacOS / Linux)
    • MacOS should work on the latest update, but may still have some missing textures.
  • Spanish breaks one of the bosses
  • AdditionalMaps isn't compatible
  • EssenceAlways isn't compatible
  • Extra MenuBackgrounds isn't compatible
  • Using a BenchWarp Deployed Bench in new areas will break the file
    • If you accidentally do this, then close the game, disable Benchwarp, then open the file again. Get off the bench you spawn at, and sit down again. Then save+quit, and you should be able to enable Benchwarp again.
  • HK Vocalized may prevent you from accessing fights
    • (This appears to not be consistently reproducable, but if you can't enter fights, then try disabling it)

heya I'm pretty green with trying to make new sprite animations in Custom Knight creator. It was opening up and functioning as a video indicated but I realized I hecked up in sizing my pngs, so I just deleted the sprite folder and redownloaded it, dropped it in the same directory, and then tried opening CKC again.

Honestly, I recommend Spritepacker over ckc, it doesn't break as easily and its compatible with all sprite sheets where as ckc only works with knight sheets.

Custom knight is just aesthetic but having a new coat of paint can really refresh the experience. Actual gameplay wise, randomizer is very fun. Glimmering realm is an option too if you want more hollow knight but in a different map layout. Hollowpoint for drastic gameplay change (requires reading the Readme)

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world. Enemies have separate health and can be in different places; items/abilities must be collected separately; breakable objects must be broken separately.

Hey guys, quick question, I installed Scarab, and inside Scarab I got the Anyrad 2.0 version and I installed Satchel and Anyrad, now where should I find the Anyrad? Is it inside the pantheon where you practice the absolute rad? Because if it is so, it doesnt work
