You need to reinstall any one mod with scarab whenever you patch back up to 1.5 to turn the modding api back on.

This happens when you have antimalware software that falsely flags Scarab as being malicious. To fix it, you will need to make an exception in that program for Scarab and/or Scarab's folder.

Fwiw, it is possible, depending on a lot of factors. But we don't keep any of the resources for that here, because generally anything related to modding a switch game is going to be in Switch-modding communities specifically.
Normaly HK Modding does not work on anything other than PC.

there's stuff in there to replace hollow's sprites as well as all the statues of them in the world, but i can't find the matching folders in the game data and so on

swapper is part of custom knight, leave them where they are in the smolaire skin folder and they should apply automatically. If they aren't, then ask for help in modding-help.

This happens when you have antimalware software that falsely flags Scarab as being malicious. To fix it, you will need to make an exception in that program for Scarab and/or Scarab's folder.

Noticed something today with the "Damage Values" mod in Scarab. By default, the mod is installed into "Damage Values" folder, while the mod itself wants to launch from "DamageValues" (without the space) named folder (based on ModLog.txt errors). So I manually changed folder name to "DamageValues" (removed the space) and the mod loads correctly now. The downside is that Scarab is looking for the folder with a space in the name and therefore does not see the mod as installed.

Looks like possibly an issue on Scarab side?

Example from ModLog.txt, it is followed by a lot of handle errors.

Biggest issue about this is that instead of using Scarab to uninstall all the mods, I have to go and uninstall (delete) this folder manually.

Anyway, that is a feature in the game and it is called "Godseeker mode". Unlocked after beating the first 3 pantheons, tho you can't fight The Hollow Knight, Radiance or Absolute Radiance in it

When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
🔹 First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
🔹 Click the three points then click "Manage".
🔹 Go to the "Files" tab and select "Browse...".
🔹 Click Hollow Knight then Content, click the path bar and copy it.
🔸Run Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

Alternate Method:
🔹 Click on your profile then "Settings"
🔹 Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"
🔹 Look for a folder where you want to install the game (Preferably inside a folder in your desktop).
🔸 Copy the path bar, then run Scarab as Administrator and when it asks you for the path, paste what copied before.

im new to modding fyrenest is confusing me

does anyone have a map of fyrenest?

and what does it mean when it says like

The last message sounds like it's coming from LoreMaster and not Fyrenest. It does tell you that an item is buried somewhere in the room. You can match that with the treasure charts (that you should have)

Once you read the sign on lemms door you should be able to buy them from iselda. Unless fyrenest interfere s with the shop, which would mean it is impossible to get.
