GPZ is a boss designed to punish player aggression and lack of knowledge - meaning his moves are baits with punishments.
If you can pretend to move somewhere, or feign/cancel a strong of attacks - you will (literally) get GPZ to trip over themselves - MISS their punishment, and you’ll be able to punish them.

Think of GPZ as a missile trying to home in on your next location. Just keep moving erratically, and they’ll become more predictable. Also dont be scared of the shockwaves, their animation is much bigger than their hitbox (like half the height)
