so where it stands is that it began when the crystal peak guys dug way too high above and discovered the radiance's statue, yeah? assuming that that moment was when the hollow knight's shell started cracking, does it mean it slowly spread from the direction of the statue towards the crossroads through their consciousness alone, planning to spread further beyond that? or rather that the cracks within the hollow knight's shell started releasing some sort of toxic fumes that amplified the plague gradually?

I use zxc for celeste as well, it's just what I'm used to ig. My brain completely switches when I change from 2-d to 3-d, so I've created different habits depending on if the game is 2 or 3 dimensional.
