So I have not played through hollow knight at all. Not even touched it despite having it in my library on PS plus since it was free awhile back.

What do yall think of it? I've heard its very good but idk. Known about it and silksongs hype for awhile.

Tried a smidge of it tonight and it honestly looks like yet another dreary, depressing, the world is ending/decaying souls-like game. Went through a few rooms under dirt town or whatever its called and called it a night. Also interacted with one single thing before that giant door you open at the beginning and nothing else, not even to talk to any npcs.
