These collect a lot of data from all over the internet. This means it has a large array of things it knows. This means it has a large array of things it can confuse itself with. This doesn't mean it knows everything.
They're useful for making a essay? Sure. But overall its pretty like bad imo, people have literally used it to make legal defenses. People just don't have common sense, unfortunately, and it seems like it will be a part of our future, whether we like it or not.
Now, some AIs are not LLMs. For example, they can be trained on specifically detecting cancer cells. This is extremely useful for, detecting them, and since thats all it knows to do, it will basically almost never fail.
They can be trained on doing almost anything, which can be very useful. Personally i find these really good for example in coding and especially medicine.
