So I duck my head down a little behind the serving counter and try to keep my back turned as much as possible so they don't recognize me. But I hear them laughing a few times at the counter, I didn't pay any mind to it. But this girl I worked with at the time who also went to my school told me that they were pointing at me. She told me this while they were still in the building so I get this rush of adrenaline at an idea I have, I think about taking their orders out to them, even if it wasn't my job that night. So I shook a little and went to the freezer to hype myself up, take my fifteen minute break and decided to finally serve them. When I did, they saw me walking over and kind smiled and murmured to themselves. So I walk up to them, I don't do too great in telling the main chick off because I was only like 14-15 and not too confident in myself. But I did end up saying what I needed to, about how her having a group was the only thing saving her from second-hand embarrassment on behalf of everyone there who wasn't her. But she gets all pissed off and stands up, putting her pointy-hind-end finger in my face and asking me to come outside. My manager, bless his heart, at the time comes over and asks if everything was alright. Before I could even say anything she just starts running her mouth and making up a bunch of other stuff I said, calling me racist just because she was Hispanic and how I was ruining her prom night.
