Yeah, very punishing and not for everyone. Watcher is def not as good as downpour but not bad, currently halfway(?) through watcher's campaign. Also haven't really tried to do secret campaign yet just knowing how hard it is supposed to be...

The main things that drive me away are navigation issues, a certain dark area, & movement tech.

Fair, movement tech isn't needed although can be very useful. Navigation is pretty much the name of the game tho. As for said dark area, its a dark area! As for actual ways to skip it, you can go through (rainworld spoilers) ||chimney canopy|| to get to (BIG rainworld spoilers) ||5 pebbles||, does require some movement tech at (rainworld spoilers) ||the top of the wall||. To get to (ALSO BIG rainworld spoilers) ||LTTM||, you can go through (rainworld spoilers) ||garbage wastes||.
