@silver thorn while there is less ground to keep you from falling off that also means you can much more easily fall into the void intentionally to take 1 hit instead of two.
More importantly though the teleports are a lot nicer with radiance teleporting directly above a platform a lot of times allowing you to deal a lot more damage much quicker.
Additionally the arena is much larger so it's easier to dodge attacks.
This is my view but some people like you I assume might struggle a lot more with the missing ground

I don't think there will be positive correlation though, and if so, it would probably be small. I assume it would also be higher among people who learned a second language later in life since they would have developed some confidence or pride from their achievement. As opposed to someone who grew up bilingual and might even be ashamed of their heritage language.
