there are going to be tools, which encompass both the same sort of thing as charms plus active limited use weapons that replenish at benches, like throwing pins or grenades
there are also crests which change your attack set and also modify other things but what exactly is unclear

And with wk I think they re usually the part where you can regen, cause they have such a predictable moveset. You can either use descending dark if you are cornered with no escape, and if for example a knight does his two slashes, just shade cloak through him and attack from behind
