You can FB skip to claw, or by beating gruz mother you can get to claw through city and waterways itemless
Generally though dash is pretty avoidable as claw and cdash get you most places
Low% nmg beats the game killing only uumuu, watcher knights and thk

If you use the current any% all-glitches-allowed route, you can beat the game in only one boss (The Hollow Knight) but I have no idea how to perform any part of it.
But besides that I think there is a glitch that lets you float in order to skip needing to fight Gruz Mother or Hornet to get into Fungal Wastes to get the claw. No clue if its in modern day patch, I just saw it in Sample's "Can you beat Hollow Knight without collecting soul?" video.
