I'm a pretty chunky guy and I've weighed the sacrifices I'd have to make to get a lean physique and it's just not worth it for me. But what IS worth it is putting my mass to good use and just getting hella strong. Hence, fridge build. A fridge might not be the slimmest or most agile thing, but if you got into a fistfight with a fridge, you'd probably lose.
