One big thing I also love more about galaxy 2 than 1 is the post game and 100%ing the game. It galaxy 1 you kinda just replay the entire game but with Luigi. In galaxy 2 each galaxy has 2-3 green stars that are at times pretty well hidden. I adore most of the green star placements, and to help with searching they increased the jingle of the star to let you know that you’re close to one.

That’s one thing I wasn’t really feeling galaxy 1. There just isn’t much reason to explore other than getting to the star. Galaxy 2 adds the star comet in order to spawn prankster comets to gain more stars, whereas in galaxy 1 it’s just sorta random

Granted galaxy 2 really only added the star comet, but galaxy 1’s galaxies are far more open and bigger than galaxy 2 which could leave more room for secrets, which it just doesn’t do that well imo
