Now that you have said you were comparing it to Soul Catcher that clarifies some things. I still did the math just to see (I didn't do Soul Eater because the cost is what makes it worse than twister, not its output).

Again, assuming there is no cap to Soul.
Now we know that with 100 Nail hits you get 1100 Soul, equating to 45.9 (rounded) casts with Soul Twister alone.
With Soul Catcher, 100 Nail hits equals 1400 Soul, and without Spell Twister that is 42.4 (rounded) casts.

These numbers alone dictate that Soul Catcher, while good, is outclassed by Spell Twister in a Spell build. And I know what your gonna say: "But what about Focusing? With Spell Twister you get less heals than you do casts, and that isn't true for Soul Catcher!" While yes, this is true, there are 2 reasons why Spell Twister is still better.

For one, if you are healing 42 times because of Soul Catcher you should be dead. In the long run, the difference between them is miniscule.
Secondly, there is still another effect that Spell Twister has. In this entire experiment we have been assuming that there is no cap to Soul, but that is not the case. When you expend Soul, even if you have extra Soul Vessels, you still need to wait for your extra Soul to be useable. Spell Twister negates this a little bit. With Spell Twister equipped, you can cast 4 Spells instead of the usual 3, allowing you to dish out damage not possible without it. This ends up being more damage faster, and with more spells to boot from the previous comparison I made between the two charms.

All in all, Spell Twister is superior to Soul Catcher, especially if you know how to use it. If you don't, well, I just described it.

the math is there so interpret it how you wish to,

firstly i compared soul eater to soul twister + soul catcher,
so youre using all 4 notches with the obvious 2 noth soul charm,
and the point isnt that soul catcher allows you 3 extra heals,
soul catcher allows you 9 more heals than soul twister, while only providing 3 less spells,
and healing ussualy restore over 10% of your health (1/9),
while even a well placed abyss shriek rarely does that much damage to a boss,
and even if it did do 10% of a bosses health,
simply adding the spells and heals together goes into non-twisters favor (85 : 79)

i really dont understand why healing is ussualy so shunned when it can be incredibly powerfull,
my point still stands, use whatever charms you want,
most are good, and there designed to allow you to play in whatever playstile you want,

I think those are all the charms I use

dive attack, you cant be in the air otherwise he snipes you

fair enough personally ive never given it enough thought, i try to kill the bosses more than they can kill me

sharp shadow is good for that extra distance when grimm uses that dive attack and lunges with fire from his back, it gives you just enough distance

plus his leap attack so you can get more damage in

plus his fire pillars

yeah it makes it a pain to deal with on platform areas like queens garden and anywhere in white palace
