Well it's 60 FPS but not double speed, it's adapted to run at the same speed (although Kris' run speed is slightly slower due to a bug iirc).
But yeahhh Jevil in particular is quite fast.
And King is really tanky.
But to compensate Jevil's gear is a little overpowered-

Although it removes 6 MG to compensate, but it's not that bad, you can use items instead if you take too many hits.
And also the glasses do much more than just more money.
They give 5 DF, 5 MG and a ton of elemental resistance against Puppet/Cat.
