I did it in my old laptop and it's good for reviving systems. it's generally not recommended for gaming because the gpu support can get really bad but if ur gpu is something like an intel igpu then there usually isn't an issue. I wasn't able to play rocket league before in windows but on Linux it ran fairly well. as for whether hollow knight can run on Linux than I don't really know. u have to check proton dB and stuff
