HK by design can be completed charmless, that's the point of charm binding challenges too, and that is also why there are a variety of charms, since they are only there to create a sense of ease for the player, add ons you could say, so charms are always a subjective topic based on every person's skillset, I've seen ppl use compass even in their later playthroughs, and also have seen people use purely nail builds or spell builds, or even heal builds, @junior ocean ( wanted to just put my thoughts )
