when he starts on the floor he's going to dash towards you and do an uppercut, walk away from him, if you're fast you can get in a shade soul
when he starts in the air he'll do a lunge or the flame pillars, when he lunges towards you, jump and ddark or if you dont have soul pogo him, make sure to double jump here too
flame pillars make small movements towards him, once all the pillars go off he is very vulnerable to an abyss shriek so get in 3 nail strikes and shriek, but this is kind of tricky to pull off, dont worry about it
the cloak pillars are quick, but you just need to pay attention
flame bats do a high long jump and dash between the first two and you can hit him three times, if you dont hit him enough you can shade soul
when he turns into a pufferfish, jump in a loop around the bottom one, this is hard to explain with just text but basically only focus on the bottom two fireballs, and if you pay attention to the end you can get in a shade soul
if that's a lot to take in, you should watch a video on it, it helps trust
i dont remember pure vessel's attacks off the top of my head, but it's fairly easy to come up with your own strategy for the boss

For a full nail build it’s not bad tbh, maybe switch long nail for something like steady body and nailmaster’s glory or something, mark of pride on its own is all you need for nail reach. Just a suggestion tho
