You can hit nkg upto 4 times while he is launching bats at you if you jump through them and start hitting. You can hit him upto thrice from ground to air dash and same with air to ground dash. Finally in the attack where bro is just standing you can get in a lot more attacks if you upslash wings (slash) dash through and pogo dash (over him) a bit hard to do but still a lot of damage from quickslash.

Actually there's a way to get 4 hits in instead of 3 when nkg is dashing from ground to air. If you dash towards him early he wont dash and move backwards, 2 hits then and then dashing away from him he will do the dash from ground to air again animation again this time actually completing the attack, over here if you time it right you can get 2 more hits in making it 4. Its very risky tho and not worth it.
