I think its because all of pv's moves requires two consecutive super-fast inputs to avoid, which means im either paying attention to timing my inputs or paying attention to pv's janky hitboxes.

like i think i died more to PV jumping randomly than any of PV’s other attacks

Pv is never going to be easy for me. My first hog pv kill took me 40+ hours of attempts. My first p4 pv kill took another 10 hours after that. Ive since 112%'d the game seven more times afterwards. Each pv kill has taken more than ten attempts per save file.

What im saying is ive practiced him as much as i ever could, but he still never fails to wreck me.

When i see pro speedrunners play, alot of their movements arent possible for me on Switch. But ive never tried pc version before to even know the difference.

Tried to 112% my ninth run in under ten hours. Got to p4 in 7.5 hours, plenty of time to grind a p4 clear.

The sad part is like almost all of my PV attempts make it so far and all feel like teh urn. But the fights just constant attrition for me. Every 2 to 5 attacks i WILL get hit somehow. If i run qfocus i can cheat in some heals to negate that, but by the end im always just one or two hits from death.

One time i tried to at least unlock absrad so i could progress my hog. After getting steamrolled by back-to-back markoth and zote where it wasnt even close for me, i gave up.

Learning how to beat zote without it being a messy dps-race-while-i-tank-half-his-attacks sounds as fun as slamming a car door on my thumb.

And my hog progress file can't un-unlock zote, so i hit a dead end.

Grimmchild is just buffed because of NKG and the damage boost is reasonable but not to a point where you would actually equip it, and on lower levels glowing womb is compensated for because it has burst (AoE?) damage
