Tl:dr the one double boss so far in dark souls consists of a really slow tanky dude with gigantic attacks paired with a quick tiny dude with smaller and ranged attacks. The reason this boss is so good is because they cover each other's weaknesses and give a reason for why it's a double boss.

Plus, when you kill one of them the other gets buffed
