If you stay c-dashing in the top-right corner with all minion charms equipped, he can't get you, and the minions will slowly kill him

you can also fight close-combat with defender's crest- the infected baloons can't get through the heroic odor

this gives you a chance to only focus on lost kin

just keep on him, and he'll go down rather quick
