Unironically hk sparked my metroidvania itches, and i ended up playing SUPER METROID on snes emulator last year. This was an amazing experience beyond words i cant believe this old goodie of a game, was such a gem, had such an insanely good atmosphere and soundtrack, and even the interconnecting between areas was so well done, that I was awed and inspired by it. Wish more people knew about it. Definitely deserving of creating the whole genre. A true classic. Still enjoyable after so many years. 🤩
