but then precise movements would be kinda impossible to do

which thankfully allows for most regular movement
and then i just wouldn’t be able to do precise stuff like shade skips or whatever

minion charms would be amazing
you just run around and dodge while they actually deal damage (one less button you have to worry about)

my first thought for kb would be something like this

movement is same as wasd just moved over to the right one key. thumb for dash and jump, pointer for quick spell, cdash and dream nail, probly ring for focus, pinky for attack and inventory.

i mean its gonna get a little weird one way or another with one hand. i kinda just shoved the less important, less frequently used stuff to the side. biggest gripe i have with it is having to switch thumb between dash and jump, but with three fingers mostly dedicated to movement thats only two for dash, jump, and attack (three most important buttons) so theres gonna be some finger swapping there. also spell on R sucks but idk what else to do with it.

to be fair though i havent tested this and probly wont lol, just my first thoughts, would probly end up tweaking if i actually played with it

Both Hornet and The Vessels can draw in soul. For the vessels this is directly observed in game and called attention to by The Godseekers, for Hornet you have to dig into Team Cherry's silksong blogpost "POST E3 WRAP!"

In Hollow Knight, the Knight gathers soul by striking enemies and can Focus that soul to heal its shell.

In Silksong, Hornet possesses similar skills, though her abilities are tied to the silk she produces. For Hornet, silk and soul are inseparably bound, her life-force fused with her thread. When enough silk is held Hornet can Bind, wrapping her wounds and readying herself for further battle and exploration.
Its explicitly established both have soul sucking abilities. Why does this prove she is void? Well we must look to the Snail Shamans for that answer. These guys are very very obviously void, we see two both explode into void particles and they give knowledge on how to create void spells. Now snail shamans obviously are very skilled with soul usage, and much like TK and Hornet, are seen drawing soul from outside sources. Curiously, the Soul Scholars also kidnapped a snail shaman, presumably to draw in more soul and get their soul sucking abilities - This can be inferred by the large amount of soul found next to the dormant shaman.

I believe that this is evidence enough to conclude that void creatures in general are skilled with soul usage, and this can be used to infer that since Hornet is incredibly skilled with soul usage, she is most likely a void creature too.
