yes that's actually what I think causes the issue I experienced. the game lets you tackle these at any time which is both a blessing and a curse. The game can't really determine what skill level or upgrade level you'll be at so there's nothing to go off of to prepare the player. it tries it's best but you can really only do so much with a mechanic like that.

some people, like me, are inevitably going to end up in situations where they're completely swept off the ground and thrown out the ring quickly due to being horribly underprepared for the boss they're about to encounter.
