When you buy his maps, they're always just a tiny section of the area with literally 0 detail. The maps are only helpful because of the quill sold by Iselda which you have to use yourself. The wayward compass is also what makes the maps good enough to bother with because even with the quill every room is barely detailed. We wouldn't have a map in the first place without him, but is he seriously selling those 8% complete maps?
