As you want but It's a very different game. It's hard to move around the map at early game (until you have jump/move upgrades) and that's boring the more you play. Sometimes if you miss a jump it takes about 1 minute to try again and 1 minute in RoR increase the difficulty
So it's like missing plateforms for loots = game gets harder
While in RoR2 you don't really have this problem, a lot of character has a dash or something and even if they haven't it's still easy to navigate

In all my 50 hours of RoR back in the days that was the thing that felt frustrating to me
