I would say Silksong is as the ubermensch is for nietzche, the magnum opus of videogames as an art form. I think every game should aim to be like it: no amount of hype can be enough, nothing changes it course, and it just continues getting better refusing to care about anything but itself, being that the effort of team cherry. Almost like the sigma grindset of videogames, so to speak. It surely isnt for everyone, but it doesnt need to, and we kind of know that as well. We wont even need to like it to respect it when it comes out. Silksong, then, is our hope as a society, our example to become better.
