I don't see why being an open world makes the flaws worse though; certain weapons being OP? Been a thing in every game, and they're working on multiple balance patches to fix that. Duo bosses/ganks being bad? Same (although yeah I fully agree some of them in this game are worse than anything they put out earlier: ||Godskin Duo and that optional miniboss trio of Crystalline thingies that inflict Scarlet Rot somewhere underground in Caelid|| in particular come to mind). Story? Been vague and with gaps in every game they've made (aside from Sekiro I think; I recall saying to myself that they're making stuff far more direct in that game, but it's been a while so I can't be sure what exactly made me say it, apologies 🥴), and I'm not sure it's particularly egregious in this game either . Annoying AI? That seems subjective, and I'm pretty sure every entry in the franchise has its own set of annoying and despised enemies, ha 😅. As for boss AI working differently, yeah that's absolutely true, they're far more reactive to your actions and can make it tougher to find attack intervals, but I'm not sure I would point it out as a significant flaw aside from special cases like ||Malenia, where she can literally break out of her own animations to retaliate, god I hate that||, or ||Godskin Duo, where like you said their AI doesn't really work cooperatively, although I've heard that Patch 1.04 improved the code for a lot of duo bosses so I'm not as sure anymore||. Can't say I've had that problem with ||Hoarah Loux|| though.
