Some of the points made in this video remind me of the parts I dislike about Elden Ring. ER suffers the most from its open world style. As far as open world games go I think it’s one of the best, but it still nips at the knees of what could otherwise have been a focused souls game. Open world games really don’t feel like big game worlds to me as much as they feel like game splattered around on a virtual wasteland

Tying this back to Silksong, I have a feeling that TC will handle progression and quests by using quests to encourage the player to explore, allowing them to eventually discover how to progress to more parts of the game and discover the main goal
