Like 15 minutes of grinding is the most I've ever really had to do, and that only really happened if I've skipped around combat

It seems the combat has been really well received. A lot of people call it strategic and well balanced. It takes inspiration from classic FF games, specifically 5 it seems with the job system. And the open world reminds me of stuff like BOTW and Genshin where if you see something in the distance, chances are you can go to it and you get rewarded with secrets. There's also a bunch of minigames and even breeding stuff from what I have found out. It's only 14 bucks too. Will update you with my full thoughts as soon as I start playing it.

Team cherry said that all endings are cannon and will try to accommodate all the endings to the lore of the sequel game SilkSong, maybe this game will take place before the events of Hollow knight? I dont think it is possible to make a story in with the ending of sealed siblings and an ending where hornet didnt get sealed. Well it is possible but it would be hard to pull off, maybe Hornet will be able to escape the seal? maybe silksong will happen in hornet's dream so whether hornet is sealed or not, it would go well with all the endings of HK
