you have a extra status bar that tracks your infection, it slowly rises overtime (your characters head blob grows over time
as it grows you get faster and deal way more damage, but take more damage, and if it gets too big you start to lose sanity and health quickly

I have unlocked 100% blasphemous achievements and saw everything on the game. First of all, there is a demo, do not expect much more movement options, there are some, but do not expect a double jump. Also it is IMO the second best metroidvania (after hk)

katana zero is good but it is a 3-4 hour game tho, but it has lots of replayability because ur choices matter
