Oh, yeah I agree. Quests that have no impact on the story or progression and just are “hey, give this rock to that guy over the river for monet” are trashy. Quests that give lore, character, deepen the world and make progression intriguing are needed and good IMO. After all discovery is the most interesting way a quest can present itself
