Honestly, and this is only tangentially related, I think TC will make sure SS launches in a better state than HK did. I'm sure with the engine change and it being their first major game bugs and some balance issues were just to be expected. SS is a chance to really flex and I feel like a demo/massive amounts of playtesters just isn't necessary

The Knight picks up Weaversong, not Hornet. Weaversong was protects the user and gives companionship. Its possible that it was left for Hornet, since the weavers dont know of the knight's existence. Thus them picking it up doomed Hornet to be unprotected and get kidnapped.
