This takes me back to when I found HK. I love eerie sound tracks which is probably why I loved FNaF world and HK has like Deepnest music but I was actually attracted to city of tears music. basically Star Citizen is like still being funded and theyre at the hundreds of millions at least but the progress is very slow and on top of that the head honcho is known for being a feature creep

and atm theyre already selling kickstarter back ships you can get depending on how much you pledge iirc

Only videogame I know that has a more complex and interesting world to explore than HK

Gameplay loop is either revolutionary or agonizing- you’re a creature that exists on the middle of the ecosystem, but can end up on the bottom or very top depending on how smart you are

Getting smarter requires a lot of initial trial and error, once you’re smart enough (ie survive enough days in a row) you can move to another area

Screen transitions are instantaneous, and that sometimes means if there’s a predator right on the edge of one you get insta killed

There’s also the whole “learning” bit

Difference between a endgame Rworld player and a new Rworld player is literally nothing, but the lategame Rworld player can literally kill anything and go anywhere in under 30 minutes
