In multiplayer you can often kind of wait for the monster to turn away, in singleplayer you really need to be able to outpace them

it has good dps with ground combos, and it's far from the worst, it's like about in the middle of the DPS curve

its better for solo playthroughs then multiplayer ones from some of the reviews i've seen

mostly because it doesn't deal much damage but grants more ways to dodge the monster which in multiplayer isn't that necessary due to the amount of other targets

Honestly, they're both great games and I respect Capcom for making the series more accessible, but I didn't like Rise or World as much as I would have liked due to their noticeably lacking endgames in comparison to the other titles.

It was artificial for the most part. Poor weapon balance, broken hitboxes, worse resource management, wonky AI.... Giving monsters a shitton of health and attacks that oneshot certainly makes them harder, but that's not necessarily better either.
