Ori 1 to me felt like a more focused experience. I wasnt one of those people who cared for the combat in Ori 2 or the lack there of in Ori 1. It was primarily a platformer game to me.
Ori 2 also had the issue of just having too much stuff in it. Like I didnt use half the attacks or weapons in it. I know choice is good, but idk.
Also the game has the worst antagonist ever and his back story is shitty

Cage really wishes he was making movies instead but he’ll never be able to do that because he wants to write things on a level of depth that he is simply incapable of, and that just doesn’t fly in a medium where the first works worthy of genuine literary analysis are more than 25 years old.

Like he’s well-known enough at this point, if he really wanted to go into making movies then he totally could make something like Avatar, something that does have some legitimate themes to it but ultimately nothing new and mostly as a vehicle for a fun popcorn movie, but he’ll never do that because it would only be seen for exactly what it is.

I feel like they want it to be as polished as possible before releasing and if they keep adding new things to it, it adds to the testing time as there is alot to consider with the game systems.
