The cocoon does have its own benefits, you can use it to get silk. Also you don't lose the shell shards. But yeah, rosaries need to be strung up if you don't wanna lose them.

That could be good or bad, it'll make exploration kinda spooky. Glad healing is better though.

and you can heal both midair and on ground at like, around 1-1.5 seconds of animation

so whats the catch?
if you get hit during the bind animation, you lose ALL the health you healed and your entire silk bar is wasted

and from the others observation, iframes is a lot shorter now in general after you get hit so you despite the mega heal you cant just face tank easily as the damage youll build up >>>>> than the damage you can dish out in order to proc a heal

on top of that, a lot of enemies according to the magazine now deals 1-2 mask in general, unlike in HK where majority of the early-mid enemies deal 1 mask at most while the rest does exclusive 2 mask (with exception of stuff like Sly, which only does 2 mask on his Great Slash attack)

TC mentioned they it is a hard thing to balance because its really strong, granted they on top of the afformentioned stuff, they can always design enemies where youre not guaranteed to farm soul off them easily like shield types (or hell, enemies that wont give soul under certain circumstances)

There is also another thing to note. You lose all unstrung rosaries when you die, so if you were unlucky to not find a bench to string up rosaries, you will face regret. So faster and healthier binding makes more sense with regard to the exploration.

Imagine going to a difficult area filled with lots of frenetic enemies, and you have like 1000 rosaries and die because you accidentally pogoed into spikes. Yeah, the healing in SS makes more sense now.
