probably, yeah, like with hk theyre prob making the game in a way that they can polish and release at any time, but keep going if they wish. the main quest is def finished, and the game is def playable, they just want even more content to make it more interesting to play

i honestly tjink it will be, from what ive seen theyve expanded on the genre and created whole new systems that enhance the variety of playstyles we see in hk charms, and movement in general looks super refined

one of the sad problems with hype, it can get toxic and create an environment where tc will be criticised for not making the game people hoped for, no matter how good the game actually is

if what happens isnt what people wanted and expected, people will get mad and send hate

with what we know, added with a bit of inference, we can pretty well say that silksong has a good chance to be the best metroidvania ever, at least in my eyes. i really hope they take the time they need with balancing, tho... that could kill a game, or in the case of silksong, make it slightly more annoying

they did mention that even early game enemies do double damage, bc the emphasis is on agility and platforming, i just hope it isnt too difficult to get used to
