This is my third time talking about this today, but I’ll say it again cause it’s (still) relevant.
Silksong has been undergoing foundational changes from the start of its development, and it is a product that needs to be marketed both inside and outside its interested audiences.

This means team cherry wants to, and will, develop the game to both a standard they are happy with, and a standard that is marketable.

Anything they show us (people near guaranteed to buy it release weekend) is shown to everyone else, like say the parents of kids with a switch, or the dark souls fan who just got a PC.

TC must work to both these standards, to make a good game as well as sell it.
News is for selling, not for updating the market on how development is going. Every interview TC has had, they have mentioned experiencing “revelations” most recently it’s designing around hornets height, and most formerly it’s Silksong becoming a standalone game.

The below screenshots are one of the many changes we can see only a year apart, and between different teasers.
Game is a product that must be made and sold, TC won’t give you “news” to sell you something they can’t sell yet.

Patience, Silksong is coming and they’re evidently doing work on it.
