but about the citadel my theory (which is really much just random since we know nothing of it yet) is that its on some kind of montain (not that high but still kinda) and theres like an observatory area/sub area next to it, the vault (area/sub area as well) and the citadel would be a normal sized base with tower going up and up until the last one being the very end of the citadel where you'ld reach the goal, whenever that would be an ending or just some upgrade and story advencement or not idk

I'd guess if anything, they need to properly think of all the routes people can take with Hornet through the game and which way they progress. In the first game it was much simpler: you get the standard route of vengeful spirit into dash into claw and that's where the game REALLY opens up. Since different crests might limit or improve Hornet's movement, they need to think it through properly.
