there no reason to say every strong ppl would have been a boss, like not every strong charachter must want to fight TK, the large majority of bosses are infected so Radiance is telling them to fight us, for the other they all have good reasons to do so but theres no good reason for Vespa, who doesnt care about the Kingdom to fight us, or grubfather who you literally helped alot and even gave you a charm in symbol of their gratitude like what

for Vespa, they added a Hive boss, but they decided to make it a hive knight instead of fighting the queen since lorewise the queen was dead, and had no reason to fight you over a dream fight or whatever, so vespa was definitely not going to be a boss otherwise they wouldhave put her instead of hive knight

and Grubfather was definitively not going to be a boss since from the start he's giving you present from you saving his grubs, so even if the whole cocoon thing wasnt planned there would have been no reason to fight grubfather who give you a charm from all the grubs gratitude? like he doesnt even look strong why would they make an old grub a boss?
