SR is cute, and it has a lot of charm, but gameplay wise its pretty simple and a bit boring. It quickly becomes a "make more money" without any real reason to make more money game

Eh, I like the process of ranching my slimes cause after all the goal of a farming sim is to farm the exploring is a nice touch too and I've still not ran out of things to spend my newbucks on even after playing this game practically non stop for several days straight so I guess it just depends what appeals to you

I set them to pick up my saber plorts in overgrowth and bring it to the silo but it doesn't and at one point I set it to send prickly pears to my Dervish tangle largo corral but it just brought it to the pink slime corral instead

Well, I do like building sims/City builders I like a lot of production management sims too if it isn't too taxing

well you need to get gems which are in various placecs across the map, then you need to use some plorts or fruit or something else at the lab. Then once you do all that you need spend like 20K to start building it, then you need to wait like (in game time) a week and then you get the Drone which helps you with like doing stuff that is too time consuming, like collecting plorts. Level 2 drones can also feed slimes so that's what I was aiming for

yeah I think you might want to look at a guide for how Drones work, though even then it is still very confusing, so whenever i use drones i need to get the Wiki up to help me remember what is happening
