I talked with a friend a while back and something he mentioned that was interesting to me was that a criticism of hollow knight he had was how not many of the boss fights make use of platforming

Considering that Hornet has a lot of movement options, I wonder if there will be more of an emphasis on platforming in boss fights in SS

Surprised not a lot of people are talking about the pink crystal area. It’s been done in other games, but given the amount of time that has passed, and the genre of the games, it’s too similar imo. That and I really hope “pink crystal area” doesn’t become a metroidvania staple. What I’m most worried about is repetition of ideas in the genre.
